The funeral service took place at the Forest of Dean Crematorium on Friday 13^th March with Mr David Wildin officiating. On entry into the crematorium a recording of DIE LORELEY (ICH WEISS NICHT WAS SOLL ES BEDEUTEN) by Fischer Chore was played. During the service, the Hymns O love that wilt not let me go and Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah were sung and NIMROD (ENIGMA VARIATIONS) was played during a period of reflection. A recording of A WHITER SHADE OF PALE by Procol Harum was played as the mourners left the crematorium.

The funeral arrangements were carried out by Ernest Heal & Sons, who are collecting donations for Alzheimer's Research UK which would be sincerely appreciated and these may be made online or sent to: Ernest Heal & Sons Funeral Directors, (Please make cheques payable to Ernest Heal Donations Account).
